I took my kids to see Cars 3 last night and we were all VERY surprised by it. My girls didn’t even want to see it, so the fact that this podcast isn’t eight straight minutes of them complaining is a SHOCK. Listen to the audio below to hear their thoughts and find out if YOU should see Cars 3. Keep checking the FREE MOVIE PASS page as well, to find out what I’m giving away next! Continue reading →
Rebekah Black and I saw It Comes at Night last night and it left us wildly depressed…in a good way. Is that possible? Listen to the podcast to hear our thoughts about the latest from Texas filmmaker Trey Edward Shults (read more about him HERE). We also have a spirited discussion about Wonder Woman and whether or not women HAVE to like it…because Rebekah Black DIDN’T! Continue reading →
I saw Trainspotting 2 with Rebekah Black and Adelfa Cardenas last night but ONE OF US hadn’t seen the original! Did it affect how she felt about the new one? Is Trainspotting 2 a worthy follow-up or should you save your money? Should you go JUST to see more of what’s pictured above? Listen to the podcast to find out, then buy tickets to see Trainspotting 2 by clicking HERE.
I saw the movie Get Out last night and it is now the ONLY thing I want to think or talk about. Comedian Jordan Peele delivers one of the smartest horror movies in ages, which skewers modern racism while scaring the bejeezus out of you. But can three white women review it without sounded racist? Listen to our podcast below to find out because we’re STILL not sure.
(Get Out Parent Review: This movie is Rated-R for violence, gore, profanity, racial slurs and some graphic sex-talk. There is no nudity or sexual depictions, but it’s probably more appropriate for older teens. You can (and should) get tickets by clicking HERE. )
Man, I have been an emotional wreck since I saw Logan. I’ve even been DREAMING about it! So, does Logan live up to the hype? Will Hugh Jackman be proud of his last Wolverine performance? Listen to my podcast with Rebekah Black to find out. Logan won’t hit theaters until March 3rd but you can buy pre-sale tickets to see it now. I’m also proud to say that this review contains NO SPOILERS, which is shocking because Rebekah LOVES to give away the ending!
You can’t listen to this podcast at work. You probably shouldn’t even listen to it at home, unless you have headphones. If that’s the case, make sure you turn them down REALLY LOW.
See, I went to a Fifty Shades Darker screening with some girlfriends last night, then we got drinks and talked about it. There are no filters to this conversation. It’s simply drunk women talking loads of trash, and then eventually reviewing Fifty Shades Darker. You’ve been warned. Continue reading →
I took my 9-year-old Lucy to see The Lego Batman Movie, along with Mac Engel (Fort Worth Star-Telegram/105.3 the Fan) and his daughter, Vivienne. Was it worth our time? Did we laugh until we peed our pants? Did someone actually DOZE OFF during the action? Listen below to find out! And don’t forget to check the Free Movie Passes page to see what I’m giving away next!
I FINALLY got to see Doctor Strange with my daughter Emma, and my other favorite movie buddy, Rebekah Black. Does it live up to the hype? Is it worth the extra cash to see it in IMAX 3-D? Can the power of Justin Timberlake soothe even the grouchiest pre-teen? Listen to their Trolls review to find out! And don’t forget to subscribe to my website so you’ll always know when I’m giving away free movie passes!
Rebekah Black and I saw The Accountant last night and had pretty extreme reactions to it. In fact, one of us even started yelling at the movie screen during the film. Here is our review and I’m proud to say that it’s 100% Spoiler Free. Well, at least no one behind us feel asleep and snored through it, like The Girl on the Train last week. Enjoy!
And because we talked about it so much, here’s the trailer for John Wick: Chapter 2. (SQUEEE!)
