It has been almost 5 months since Tony Zazza and I were on the air together but it was like we hadn’t missed a day. I joined him on his Podcast and it was a BLAST! Can’t wait to go back. Check it out!
We were REALLY excited about taping this podcast because we hadn’t seen each other in weeks. Maybe that’s why everything went south so fast. Maybe that’s why we drank more and cussed more and went places that we NEVER should have gone. Whatever the reason, it resulted in our FILTHIEST Wine ‘N Film Critics to date. Continue reading →
I saw “It Follows” with Rebekah Black & Guest Film Critic Adelfa Cardenas. We’ve heard LOADS of great reviews about this new scary flick. Does it live up to the hype? Find out here! And pardon the pubic hair jokes.
I saw “The Lazarus Effect” last night with Rebekah Black, Sybil Summers, Richie Whitt & Guest Critic James Lane. Then we chatted about it after drinking copious amounts of cheap wine. Believe me, we NEEDED the wine for this one! Enjoy & please forgive the swear words. I dropped my recorder!
Several months ago, Stephen Becker from KERA reached out to me about being on THINK. He and Chris Vognar from The Dallas Morning News were going to discuss the 2015 Oscar nominees with Krys Boyd and he wondered if I would like to join in. I have TREMENDOUS respect for Stephen and Chris and the girl-crush I have on Krys is boarderline gross, so YES I wanted to join in. I COULDN’T though because of a stupid work conflict and I can’t tell you how upset I was.
Fortunately, Stephen contacted me about a pre-Oscar chat again and THIS TIME I had no work conflicts to muck it up. If you missed our hour on THINK, here it is.
Wanna have fun with this? Take a shot any time I say INCREDIBLE or WONDERFUL. Keep the bottle close by because you’re going to finish it off. Thanks to G&J for always being so sweet to me!
I saw Hot Tub Time Machine 2 this week with Rebekah Black, Sybil Summers & Richie Whitt and this is our review…sort of. We think that talking about movies is far more fun when you’re drinking a frosty beverage but we DO tend to lose focus. That explains the random gay-porn chat. We DO eventually get around to reviewing the movie though so ENJOY!
I’ve been chatting about movies with Gene & Julie Gates recently, which is wild for MULTIPLE reasons. I’ve known these two since they were just boyfriend-girlfriend (believe it or not, they were not BORN married) and we were all living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They’re doing a morning show in Raleigh, North Carolina now and asked me to join them occasionally. It has been a BLAST! Here’s our segment from this morning. Thanks for having me on, guys!
