Do you remember The Game? That David Fincher movie starring Michael Douglas and Sean Penn? It’s about a guy who gets caught up in some weird game (hence the name), so he can’t tell what’s real-life and what isn’t? It’s good, but also kind of awful because it’s just two hours of screaming, “Is it real or not? Because I don’t want to watch this movie anymore!”
I thought of The Game immediately when I saw the trailer for Game Night.
It stars Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams as a couple who join friends for a Murder Mystery Game that might not be a game after all. Or is that PART of the game? See, that’s how it’s like The Game. Game Night is a Comedy though, which will hopefully keep the stress-induced screaming to a minimum.
