Julie Says So: What’s Streaming NOW (for 4/23)
Don’t you miss hanging out with your squad?
Getting dressed up, meeting your friends and then having a massive fight in the middle of some overpriced restaurant. Maybe even flipping some tables?
If that’s your kind of fun, you’ll be thrilled to know that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is BACK. Sharpen your nails for added drama because Garcelle Beauvais has been added to the cast. You can watch it on Bravo (and catch up with Episode 1 below).
Normally this time of year we’d be piling into a theater to watch the latest Marvel movie. We can’t do that now but we CAN ease the withdrawals with Chris Hemsworth’s latest, Extraction. It’s from Avengers directors Joe and Anthony Russo so the action is guaranteed to be high-impact and consistent. Plus…it’s Chris Hemsworth and his arms. Find that on Netflix.
Sports fans can stop crying into their beers long enough to watch The Last Dance, a 10-part docu-series airing on ESPN (starting on Netflix July 19th). The Chicago Bulls apparently let a film-crew follow them as they prepared for the 97-98 NBA season, which led to an unprecedented look at Michael Jordan and the Bulls dynasty. It might have been twenty years ago, but it’ll still give you goosebumps.
Parents who are running out of options for their kids should check out The Willoughbys on Netflix. A movie about children who plan their parents’ demise might sound dangerous during a quarantine but at least it will keep them occupied for an hour. Plus, it’s just bright and twisted enough for parents to enjoy, too.
And finally, Amazon Prime is now streaming non-Daniel Craig James Bond movies. All the classics, from Dr. No to Die Another Day are available so you can laugh at the wildly inappropriate names of the Bond girls. In fact, use this Ranker list and make a drinking game out of them.
Remember to share what you’re streaming in the “Comments” below and STAY WELL!
