Since then, we’ve seen Charlize Theron play a lady-John Wick in Atomic Blonde, Tessa Thompson as a Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok, and ALL the women of Black Panther kick tremendous ass. That’s why it seems highly appropriate to introduce Alicia Vikander as our new Laura Croft in Tomb Raider. Vikander is tiny, but she wanted to be taken seriously in the role of video-adventurer so she bulked up with weight training and performed her own stunts. See? Total bad-ass!
