Remember all the times you lusted after Christian Bale in those Batman movies? Or maybe you left American Psycho all thirsty from the shower scene, even though he was playing a sadistic bastard. We’ve all had our Christian Bale thoughts, but check him out in that photo above. Believe it or not, that’s him playing Dick Cheney in the movie Vice. Bale is not the only creative-casting choice from this movie either. Sam Rockwell plays a young George W. The “Julie Says So” Movie Segment Heads to TV
I started a new show this week on TXA 21. It’s called Today with Kandace and is a lifestyle show that features food and fancy stuff to do around North Texas. They asked if I’d like to talk about movies with 2001 Miss USA Kandace Krueger, and I said HECK YEAH!
Today with Kandace is prerecorded so I won’t review new movies for them, like I usually do. This will be more of a Coming Soon segment, followed by a chat about new DVDs and good films to share with your kids. This week, we covered The Big Short and Goosebumps on DVD, as well as one I’m crazy excited about, the new Ghostbusters. The Big Short will have a limited release starting December 11th and opens wide on December 23rd. It’s based on Michael Lewis’ New York Times #1 Best Seller The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine. You can buy it on Amazon by clicking HERE, if you want to read it before the movie comes out. Sounds like a great way to kill that pre-Fall boredom and get out of the house, right?
