I could write a 3-part essay about Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, explaining why you REALLY want to see this movie. I could tell you about the cast, which includes Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, and Peter Dinklage OR how it’s written and directed by Martin McDonagh, who made those other two movies you loved (Seven Psychopaths and In Bruges). I could talk all day about it’s incredible performances and Oscar chances, but the thing that will REALLY make you want to see Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri is it’s trailer. I posted that below so watch it, then grab passes to see it EARLY and FOR FREE Continue reading →
I joined Jane McGarry and Alanna Sarabia today on Good Morning Texas to discuss the big November movies everyone should watch for. Since it’s Halloween, they also asked me to show up in costume and talk about my favorite SCARY movies. I learned a number of things from the costume I wore today (see above), namely that Kylo Ren is forever shutting his skirts in car doors and struggling to keep them out of toilets. Click HERE to watch the segment, and remember to check the Julie Says So FREE MOVIE PASSES page to see what I’m giving away next. I’m also posting the Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri trailer below, since we discussed it today. Be warned that it is PACKED with really REALLY foul language, which is probably why I love it so. Continue reading →
I saw American Made (starring Tom Cruise and directed by Doug Liman) last night with two of my movie buddies, Andrew Conway and Mark Walters of BigFanboy.com. Then we had to sit down and come to terms with the fact that Tom Cruise is 55-freaking-years-old! How is that even possible??? Is American Made worth your time and hard earned money? Will you really get to see Tom Cruise’s naked butt or is that a butt-double? Listen to the podcast below to find out! And don’t forget to check my website to see what FREE MOVIE PASSES I’m giving away next! Continue reading →
I joined Jane McGarry, Alanna Sarabia and Ron Corning on Good Morning Texas today to review a movie I can’t stop thinking or talking about: Get Out. If I said, “Get out of your house and see Get Out this weekend,” would you want to punch me in the face? Continue reading →
I saw the movie Get Out last night and it is now the ONLY thing I want to think or talk about. Comedian Jordan Peele delivers one of the smartest horror movies in ages, which skewers modern racism while scaring the bejeezus out of you. But can three white women review it without sounded racist? Listen to our podcast below to find out because we’re STILL not sure.
(Get Out Parent Review: This movie is Rated-R for violence, gore, profanity, racial slurs and some graphic sex-talk. There is no nudity or sexual depictions, but it’s probably more appropriate for older teens. You can (and should) get tickets by clicking HERE. )
