FREE MOVIE PASSES: See Disneynature’s “Penguins” EARLY & FOR FREE

The first movie I ever attempted with my daughter was March of the Penguins. It was late in the summer of 2005 and only a few months past her first birthday, which is honestly WAY too early for a darkened a theater. It was playing at a Crybaby Matinee though, so I wasn’t worried about offending the other bored mommies who just needed time out of the house. I think Morgan Freeman’s narration scared her, because she started to wail just moments after he began talking. She also started to kick her tiny feet in the theater seat, which caused Emma’s light-up tennis shoes to flash like a disco ball. I snatched her up and ran out, and to this day have no idea how things ended for those penguins.
We’d probably have better luck with Disneynature‘s Penguins, because it’s a light-hearted approach to penguin-life. This one follows the adventures of Steve, an Adélie penguin who searches for love in the Antarctic. It’s like a feature-length version of those penguin videos you watched a million times on Facebook, which is why I feel certain you’ll want to see Penguins EARLY and FOR FREE. Continue reading →

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See Disney’s “Born in China” EARLY & FOR FREE

I am addicted to posting cute animal videos. I can help it. I see one and think, “REALLY? The world needs to see another baby goat?” Then, before I know it, I’m tearfully sharing it with everyone I know. It’s almost involuntary. That’s why I can’t WAIT to see Born in China, which features the stories of three baby animals growing up in the wilds of China. It’ll be like a feature-length version of my obsession, but better because it’s made by Disneynature.
Want to see it EARLY and FOR FREE? Get your passes by clicking HERE if so, then watch the trailer below. And NO, you can NOT have a baby snub-nose monkey because I can already hear you asking for one!
