It was during a rare quiet moment in the film Everything Everywhere All at Once when a woman behind me said, “This movie is so stupid.”
She must have felt strongly about it because she said it again a half-hour later.
“Seriously…this movie is so stupid.”
She’s not entirely wrong either.
There are moments of blistering stupidity in Everything Everywhere All at Once, but they are sandwiched between broad, existential comments on love, parenting, and the way we view our own precious lives.
