My Spy

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “My Spy” EARLY & FOR FREE All Over Texas! (& New Orleans)

Can I be honest? When I first saw the poster for My Spy, I rolled my eyes. I thought, “Oh great, they’re putting Drax in movies with kids now. Perfect.” Then I watched the trailer and got genuinely excited about this movie. Sure My Spy looks cute, but it has a dose of grit so it’s not “cutesy.” Plus, it’s got Kristen Schaal who is frankly brilliant in anything. Best of all, I have passes to see it EARLY and FOR FREE all over the map! Continue reading →

Jeremy Camp

Who’s up for a love story that’s almost guaranteed to make you ugly cry? Looks like that’s the plan with I Still Believe, where a musician on the rise (KJ Apa) falls for a woman who appears to be terminally ill (Britt Robertson). It’s the true story of Christian Rock mega-star Jeremy Camp, but don’t Google him or you’ll get major spoilers. So, who wants to see I Still Believe EARLY and FOR FREE? Continue reading →

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See Disney-Pixar’s “Onward” EARLY & FOR FREE (in Dallas & Oklahoma City)

I’m honestly still confused about the premise of Onward, which claims to be about teenaged-elf-brothers who try to bring their father back to life in a fantasy suburban world. It’s from Disney-Pixar though and stars the voices of Tom Holland and Chris Pratt. It has to be good, right??? Well, why don’t you see Onward EARLY and FOR FREE just to be safe? Lucky for us, I have passes to do just that in Dallas and Oklahoma City. Continue reading →

Ben Affleck

You know it’s a good sports movie if the trailer chokes you up. That said, take a second to watch the trailer for The Way Back below.

Did you feel that?
I love a good comeback story and the fact that The Way Back stars Ben Affleck, who has also turned into a Comeback Kid, certainly helps. So, who wants to see The Way Back EARLY and FOR FREE? Continue reading →

Ferrell & Dreyfus

Have you been meaning to watch Force Majeure ever since it landed on most critics’ Top 10 of the Decade lists? Well, you should still see the 2014 Swedish original, but Hollywood has made its own version called Downhill. It stars Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a couple who reexamines their marriage after a ski-resort incident and, even better, I have passes to see Downhill EARLY and FOR FREE! Continue reading →

Charlize Theron plays Megyn Kelly in Bombshell, and the transformation she makes for the role is staggering. Theron apparently used eight different prosthetic pieces to complete the look, which was so effective that costar Nicole Kidman didn’t even recognize her on set! Theron, Kidman and Margot Robbie play some of the women who took on Fox News head Roger Ailes in Bombshell, and I’ve got passes to see it EARLY and FOR FREE! Continue reading →

Will Smith & Tom Holland

Here’s a movie for the whole family that’s opening on Christmas Day. It’s Spies in Disguise from Blue Sky (the makers of Ice Age, Ferdinand and Rio), starring Will Smith and Tom Holland. Apparently Smith’s super-spy is turned into a pigeon while working with Holland’s nerdy technology officer and they have to work together to save the world. Well, the kids will love it and I have passes to see Spies in Disguise Continue reading →

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Jumanji: The Next Level” EARLY & FOR FREE!

Remember how pleasantly surprised we all were by Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle when it opened in 2017? It became the surprise hit of that holiday season and is now one of those films that, if it happens to be on TV, I have to watch the whole dang thing. The follow-up, Jumanji: The Next Level, is opening December 13th and things are a little different this time. Watch the trailer below to find out how they worked in new cast members, Continue reading →
