FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Trolls” EARLY & FOR FREE

My kids think they’re too cool for Kids’ Movies these days. They never get excited about anything and groan whenever I say, “Who wants to see (insert-PG-rated-film-here)?!” That’s not the case with Trolls though, oddly enough. No, they’ve been buzzing about this one since Justin Timberlake released the Trolls theme song over the summer and we heard it about 12 billion times on the radio. Even that didn’t dampen their enthusiasm so they’re actually EXCITED to see Trolls with me. Want to see it with us? Click HERE to grab a family 4-pack, then watch the trailer below. Good GRIEF, I love that Justin Timberlake!

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Inferno” EARLY & FOR FREE

So, did you read Inferno? What is Harvard professor Robert Langdon up to these days? You know, the main character from those Dan Brown books who’s always getting in trouble with the Vatican, the Iluminati and this time around, a group called The Consortium? I wouldn’t honestly know because I haven’t read a Dan Brown book since The Da Vinci Code back in 2003. See, other people complain about Hollywood making movies out of books but I, for one, am thrilled. It’s rare that I get to curl up with a book anymore so I’m fine with big screen adaptations starring people I enjoy, like Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones. Even better, I haven’t read Inferno, so I’ll have no idea if the book is better than the movie! Want to see it EARLY and FOR FREE with me? Click HERE to grab a free pair of passes, then watch the trailer below. Uh-oh, looks like Robert Langdon is in real trouble this time!

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Hacksaw Ridge” ON ME

Are you still mad at Mel Gibson?

If so, I get it. He said some pretty awful things during that drunk-driving arrest in 2006. You might want to prepare yourself though, because Mel Gibson is back on the scene.

In fact, he directed a movie that you probably already want to see called Hacksaw Ridge. It stars Andrew Garfield as WWII Army Medic Desmond T. Doss, who became the first Conscientious Objector to win the Medal of Honor.

Gibson made this project with Producer David Permut, who is both gay and Jewish but still has glowing things to say about the man after working with him. Hacksaw Ridge is also getting Oscar caliber praise, which may put Gibson in the running for another statue (You remember how much you loved Braveheart, don’t you?).

If you still don’t want to forgive him, I completely understand. Even better, I have a way for you to see Hacksaw Ridge without giving Mel Gibson any of your money. Just click HERE to get your FREE MOVIE PASSES, then watch the trailer below. Wow, it’s kind of like being a Conscientious Objector!

Free Passes to see "American Pastoral"

FREE MOVIE PASSES: Ewan McGregor Directs “American Pastoral”

Don’t we all have a little crush on Ewan McGregor?

There’s something about him that seems very sweet and accessible, even though he’s an undeniable mega-star. But did you know that Ewan McGregor is also a Director?

That’s right, he directed American Pastoral which is based on the Pulitzer-prize winning book by Philip Roth. It’s about a man who’s family falls apart after his daughter takes part in a deadly political protest. American Pastoral also stars Jennifer Connelly and Dakota Fanning and since we’re such good friends, YOU get to see it EARLY and FOR FREE! Just click HERE for your free passes, then watch the trailer below. Hope McGregor doesn’t decide to stay exclusively behind the camera!

Free Passes. Keeping Up With The Joneses

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Keeping Up with the Joneses” ON ME!

Those of us who didn’t get enough Gal Gadot in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are in luck. She’s back in Keeping Up with the Joneses and she brought along Jon Hamm, another face we haven’t seen enough of lately.

Keeping Up with the Joneses stars Zach Galifianakis and Isla Fisher as a suburban couple whose new neighbors are the impossibly stylish Gadot and Hamm. Are they really that perfect, or do the Joneses have something to hide? Well, you already know the answer to that.

If you’d like free passes to see Keeping Up with the Jonese, just click HERE, then watch the trailer below. And check out Zach Galifianakis, who lost over 50 pounds before filming this movie! I honestly didn’t even recognize him at first!

Movie still from Birth of a Nation

FREE MOVIE PASSES to “The Birth of a Nation”

I am 100% conflicted about this movie.

As a film-fan, I’ve been dying to see The Birth of a Nation ever since it was screened at Sundance last year and left critics breathless. Writer-Director and star Nate Parker seemed destined for an Oscar and Fox Searchlight Pictures bought the worldwide rights for 17.5 million dollars. It was the largest deal ever made at a film festival.

As a woman though, I can’t ignore the rape charges that Nate Parker has faced. I can’t tune-out the calls to boycott The Birth of a Nation or the horrible stories about what happened on the night in question. You can click HERE to get more information about that, but prepare yourself. It’s pretty upsetting.

So what do I do with these free movie passes?

Well, seeing The Birth of a Nation at a FREE SCREENING gives you a chance to witness an important and largely untold story without putting money in anyone’s pockets. Click HERE to get free passes, then watch the trailer below. And if you’re still conflicted, try focusing on Nat Turner and the real fighters of the Virginia rebellion. The Birth of a Nation is, after all, based on actual events.

Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life” ON ME!

Did you know that James Patterson writes books for kids? Yep, the same guy who brought us Alex Cross and the Women’s Murder Club also has a series for children, which sounds like cause-for-concern, but it isn’t. I mean, the man has written almost 150 novels during his career so he’d HAVE to branch out at some point.

Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life is based on Patterson’s book about Rafe Khatchadorian, who starts middle school and decides to break every single rule in it’s Code of Conduct. Can he do so without getting caught? Will his Mom (Lauren Graham) or her creepy new boyfriend (Rob Riggle) find out what Rafe’s been up to? Would you care more about these questions if you could see the movie EARLY & FOR FREE? If so, click HERE to snag your free movie passes, then watch the trailer below. Holy cow, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life will probably be MY middle-schooler’s new favorite movie!

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “The Magnificent Seven” ON ME!

Where has Chris Pratt been? Sure, I’ve seen him nightly on HBO since they’re playing Jurassic World on repeat, but it’s been far too long since my pretend-boyfriend was on the big screen. This dry-spell will come to an end soon, thank goodness, since The Magnificent Seven is hitting theaters September 23rd.

The Magnificent Seven stars Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke, along with the Pool-Boy-of-Your-Dreams Chris Pratt, as gunmen who band together to save a town from thieves. It isn’t a remake of the 1960’s classic, just a re-imagining, so you purists can relax. The Magnificent Seven also stars Haley Bennett, who has had a HUGE year after starring in Hardcore Henry in the spring and in The Girl on the Train next month. Haley is the girl you keep thinking is Jennifer Lawrence, but isn’t.

If you’d like to see The Magnificent Seven EARLY and FOR FREE, just click HERE, then watch the trailer below. See, you totally thought she was Jennifer Lawrence, didn’t you?
