I absolutely LOVE IT when I look at the calendar and see nothing but great movies on the horizon. That’s exactly what I was talking about on Good Morning Texas today. I joined Jane McGarry (who apparently cranks up rap music when she isn’t on TV) and Alanna Sarabia (who’s so young, she wasn’t sure who John McEnroe was…but we love her anyway!) to talk about Patti Cake$, Mother!, Battle of the Sexes, Home Again, 9/11, American Made and the movie I simply can’t stop talking about, It. I even had some juicy gossip to share about Jennifer Lawrence’s latest fling and our newest Pennywise the Clown, who scared some child actors on the set so badly, he left them crying. Click HERE to watch the segment, then visit the Free Movie Passes page to see what I’m giving away next. In fact, I should have tickets to see It very soon so check that page DAILY. I was on Good Morning Texas recently, talking about all the events you need to hit before the kids head back to school. Yes, it’s already that time! The biggest trick to radio or television is to make it seem like you’re having so much fun that no one notices all the work that’s involved. It isn’t always easy, but SOME DAYS are so much fun that they don’t feel like work at all. That’s how it was this morning, when I reviewed Baywatch and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales for Good Morning Texas. I have Dawn Hensley (who worked the camera) and Paige McCoy Smith (who really IS that nice) to thank for that. I should also thank the Sandbar Cantina and Grill for mixing those fantastic cocktails for us! We only had one after the segment, but we were laughing like we’d been drinking them all morning! Click HERE to watch the segment, then find links to buy movie tickets below. Also, keep checking the website because some fabulous movies are opening in June and you KNOW I’ll have FREE PASSES!

I always say that lowered expectations are a movie’s best friend, but Wonder Woman is making that next to impossible for me. How am I supposed to keep my cool about the first female superhero movie since 2005 (that was Elektra), which just happens to be directed by a woman (Patty Jenkins, who also directed Monster)? I’m also a huge fan of Gal Gadot, who is taking on the role of Diana in this origin story. Gadot is so much more than a pretty face, having served as a combat trainer in the Israel Defense Forces. She performs most of her own stunts, is a motorcycle enthusiast and is the mother of two little girls. Both of Gal Gadot’s grandparents are Holocaust survivors as well, so the mantle of Superhero seems all the more fitting.
My daughters are also pumped about Wonder Woman, having never seen a superhero movie about a GIRL in their lives. I’d say it’s about time. So, who wants passes to see Wonder Woman EARLY and FOR FREE? Continue reading →
I know what you’re asking yourself today.
What am I supposed to do AFTER I’ve seen Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2?
Well, you could go see another movie (after you’ve seen GOTG2 a second and third time, of course). Believe it or not, there ARE other films opening this month and some of them look fantastic. I was on Good Morning Texas last week, discussing the phenomenon of movies that AREN’T Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and you can watch that by clicking HERE. I didn’t get a chance to cover every interesting movie that’s opening this month, so I made a handy list for you with links to purchase tickets. Find that below, and remember that we won’t judge if you panic and just go see that new Guardians movie again. Continue reading →

I joined Jane McGarry, Alanna Sarabia and Ron Corning on Good Morning Texas today to review a movie I can’t stop thinking or talking about: Get Out. If I said, “Get out of your house and see Get Out this weekend,” would you want to punch me in the face? Continue reading →
I cried like a baby when I saw the trailer for the new Beauty and the Beast. I don’t know why I got so emotional about it, but it didn’t stop with that first time. If you’re having the same bizarre reaction, you’ll be happy to know that I have passes to see Beauty and the Beast EARLY and FOR FREE! Just click HERE to snag those, then cry through the trailer below with me.
Beauty and the Beast opens March 17th and you can buy advance tickets HERE.
I have an extremely limited number of passes to see The Shack at an early screening. I mean, less than a handful, which is why I feel kind of guilty even OFFERING them to you. Continue reading →
