What do you do when you’re a movie series about kids (based on a book series about kids) and your stars get too old to play kids? Well, if you’re the Wimpy Kid series, you just get all-new kids.
Such is the case with Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul, which introduces us to a brand new Greg, Rowley and, of course, Rodrick. They even gave us a new Mom and Dad, who are now played by Tom Everett Scott and Alicia Silverstone. That had to be a little weird for original Wimpy parents, Steve Zahn and Rachel Harris, who I guess have to play grandparents now?
