FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Tag” EARLY & FOR FREE

Think for a minute about some of the stupid things you did with your friends when you were a kid? Now image that you continued that nonsense into adulthood and raised the stakes even higher. Well, that’s exactly what Tag is about and, believe it or not, it’s based on a true story.
Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Ed Helms, Hannibal Buress and Jake Johnson star as classmates who’ve been playing the same game of Tag for thirty years. This continuous battle has taken them all around the world, but one of them is ready to retire. Will his buddies let him? Does it really matter if you’re seeing Tag EARLY and FOR FREE? Pete Delkus and Jane McGarry

Reviewing New Movies on “Good Morning Texas”

It isn’t easy to watch myself on TV. Sometimes, I talk too fast and forget things. Other times, I mispronounce actors’ names or use words that don’t exist. Today, I managed to do all four on Good Morning Texas, and even worked in the word “fictitional.” Nope, it’s not a word. I did, however, get to review new movies like Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, Arrival, and Manchester By the Sea. I also got to talk about some upcoming flicks I’m jazzed about, like Nocturnal Animals and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Click HERE to watch the segment. Special THANKS to Pete Delkus, who joined Jane McGarry and I in our movie-chat. Sorry I went total FAN GIRL on you, Delkus!

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Arrival” EARLY & FOR FREE

Arrival is already a front-runner for Best Picture and Best Director in this year’s Oscar race. Amy Adams is on the short-list of potential Best Leading Actress nominees as well, thanks to her role in Arrival. It’s also currently getting 100% on the website Rotten Tomatoes, which means they can’t find a film critic who has a bad thing to say about it anywhere. That’s quite a feat. So, do you want to see Arrival early and for free? Continue reading →

Julie Says So “Captain America: Civil War” Movie Review (How Ant Man Stole the Show)

I saw Captain American: Civil War last night and, I’m not gonna lie, I was crazy pumped. It was extra special though, because I got to see it with my three favorite movie buddies; Rebekah Black and my daughters, Emma and Lucy. You can hear what we thought about the movie in the podcast below and let me be clear. Ant Man didn’t exactly steal the show, but, in a split second, he managed to become our favorite Avenger. Enjoy our review and remember to share your own thoughts on the movie in the Comments, once you’ve seen Captain America: Civil War.

Mommy-Movie-Review “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (But Can My KID Watch It?)

New in theaters this week is the highly anticipated sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron. If your family is like mine, this movie and whether or not my kids can see it has been a constant topic of discussion. Fortunately, I already saw the film so I can give you the low-down. Continue reading →

PODCAST: I Drove ALL THE WAY to Plano for the “Zazza Mornings” Podcast!

I went to see Tony Zazza because he SAID he wanted to talk about the Avengers: Age of Ultron. HE LIED! Evidently, Tony had a “bone to pick” with me and boy, did he ever! I thought he might jump across the desk & stab me with a Sharpie at one point. Click HERE and go to Podcast #24 to hear what happened but WATCH OUT for that Tony Zazza. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry!

PODCAST: Boozy Movies Reviews “Avengers: Age of Ultron”

I didn’t like superhero movies in 2012, when I went to see the first Avengers. I remember looking at my movie-buddy Rebekah Black and saying, “This is gonna suck.”

What can I say? Sometimes I’m really REALLY wrong.

We were BEYOND pumped about this new treat from Joss Whedon but also a little scared. Would it compare to the first? Would it suck so bad that we’d stop liking the Avengers altogether? What if it was so awful that even THOR lost his sex-appeal. Yeah, that’s not gonna happen but listen to the podcast to hear our thoughts.
