Darkest Hour tells the story from Winston Churchill’s perspective, and how the newly appointed Prime Minister dealt with advancing Nazi forces and the threat of invasion. Darkest Hour stars Gary Oldman, but don’t expect to see him anywhere in it. Nope, Oldman disappears so completely into character with Winston Churchill, he’s almost guaranteed a Best Actor nomination.
