We’re back this week with a look at Robert Pattinson in The Batman and Tyler Perry’s latest, A Madea Homecoming. We’ll also let you know if some of the latest streamers (Severance, Ozark Season 4 & Peacemaker) are worth your time. The JSS Movie Minute will be back later this month with reviews of The Lost City and Everything, Everywhere All At Once but in the meantime, check out Jared Leto in the Morbius trailer below.
Did anyone really need a new addition to the Scream franchise? Doesn’t matter because Hollywood gave us one anyway. Click the podcast above to hear what we thought about it, as well as quick reviews of Parallel Mothers, A Hero and John Cena’s new streamer, Peacemaker (and Julie dishes on her new crush, Ghosts on CBS). We’ll also introduce you to a film that’s opening in March and checks all kinds of icky boxes (and yet we’re oddly intrigued). Find the X trailer below and let us know if you plan to see it!

Did you know that a new Transformers movie is coming out? This one is about Bumblebee and stars Hailee Steinfeld as the human he pairs up with. Want to know something really crazy? Bumblebee is getting FANTASTIC reviews. Last time I checked Rotten Tomatoes, 98% of the critics who had reviewed it loved it. Maybe it’s because Steven Spielberg is an Executive Producer, or because Hailee Steinfeld is great in anything she does, but Bumblebee is apparently a hit! So, who wants to see it EARLY and FOR FREE? We’ve been reading that book at bedtime since my nieces, who are now old enough to legally drink with me, were so little you couldn’t understand what they were saying (Seriously, one of them kept asking for Tah-tahs and Tagga Milk and we had NO idea what she was saying. She wanted Pop-Tarts and Chocolate Milk, of course). Now one of my nieces is reading Ferdinand to her own little girl, who can’t wait to see him on the Big Screen! And how appropriate is it that the big-scary-bull-who’s-actually-a-softie is played by John Cena? Even better, I have Family 4-Packs to give away, so you don’t have to pick a favorite kid to see the movie with! Continue reading →
