Free Movie Passes: See “The Founder” EARLY & FOR FREE

It’s funny how excited MY KIDS are about seeing The Founder. It’s not that they love McDonald’s so much (they prefer Chik-fil-A), they just like to fantasize about how much money the fast-food giant makes in a day. See, The Founder tells the true (but slightly embellished) story of Ray Kroc (played by Michael Keaton), and how he got two brothers to sell their Southern California burger joint. Kroc then turned it into the gazillion-dollar industry we know as McDonald’s, so you can just imagine how those brothers felt. If you’d like to see The Founder EARLY and FOR FREE, click HERE to grab your passes, then watch the trailer below. Man, Michael Keaton is fantastic. Even when he’s playing SKEEVY!

Free "Sing" Screenings

I remember going to see Flash Gordon with my cousins back in 1980. We were all in Conway, Arkansas for the holidays and I was the youngest kid in this particular outing. I felt so cool, hanging out with the big girls (even though the Emperor Ming scared me a little) and I love that stupid movie to this day. My point is that everyone LOVES catching a movie over the holidays, especially if they have fun relatives around, and now you can do it FOR FREE. See, AMC Theaters will be offering FREE SCREENINGS of the movie Sing nationwide the Saturday after Thanksgiving (11/26/16). Continue reading →

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Hotel Transylvania 2” On Me!

If you have children, you were probably forced to see Hotel Transylvania with them back in 2012. Fortunately for all of us, the Adam Sandler-Selena Gomez flick ended up being sweet and pretty darn fun to watch. This time around, Dracula has to keep his daughter and grandson from moving away from the hotel and leaving him all alone (sad-bat-face). It features the voices of great folks like Andy Samberg and Steve Buscemi again, but this time Mel Brooks joins the cast as Dracula’s Dad. That ALONE makes Hotel Transylvania 2 worth watching! Take a look at the trailer below and click HERE for your free passes. The screening is THIS UPCOMING SATURDAY so make your plans and I’ll see you there!

MOVIE REVIEW: “Me And Earl And The Dying Girl” (This Is Gonna Hurt)

Sometimes you fall in love with something even though you KNOW you shouldn’t. You go into it knowing that your heart will be broken, so you TRY to not get emotionally attached. Then, without even realizing it, you are head over heels and completely committed. That was my experience with Me and Earl and The Dying Girl. I knew immediately what was going to happen, but I let it hurt me anyway, so I guess I have no one to blame but myself. Continue reading →
