This week Julie and Rebekah review Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho (starring Thomasin McKenzie and Anya Taylor-Joy) and Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch (with Timothée Chalamet, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand and every other Wes Anderson favorite). They also cover Marvel‘s latest The Eternals, with Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Brian Tyree Henry, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden, Jemma Chan and so many more. They wrapped the MOVIE MINUTE with the trailer for Pixar‘s Lightyear, which looks at the origins of Buzz Lightyear. Find more movie reviews and free movie passes at JulieSaysSo.com.Continue reading →
If you aren’t excited about the film Sorry to Bother You, you must not have read any of it’s crazy-enthusiastic reviews. One of my favorites comes from Alex Arabian of filminquiry.com, who says this:
“Sorry To Bother You is an intelligent, batshit crazy satire that offers plenty of the theater of the absurd, a standout performance from Lakeith Stanfield, the most original script of the past two years, and plenty of laughs and food for thought.”
Sounds pretty great, right? You can read the rest of that review HERE (or browse through the other glowing Rotten Tomatoes reviews HERE), OR you could just grab FREE PASSES to see Sorry to Bother You from me! Continue reading →
Those of us who didn’t get enough Gal Gadot in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are in luck. She’s back in Keeping Up with the Joneses and she brought along Jon Hamm, another face we haven’t seen enough of lately.
Keeping Up with the Joneses stars Zach Galifianakis and Isla Fisher as a suburban couple whose new neighbors are the impossibly stylish Gadot and Hamm. Are they really that perfect, or do the Joneses have something to hide? Well, you already know the answer to that.
If you’d like free passes to see Keeping Up with the Jonese, just click HERE, then watch the trailer below. And check out Zach Galifianakis, who lost over 50 pounds before filming this movie! I honestly didn’t even recognize him at first!
