Is the mid-summer slump bringing you down? That awesome vacation you planned all year has come and gone, so you’re back at work and bored as hell? How ’bout an adrenaline shot courtesy of Mark Wahlberg in Mile 22??? He paired up with director Peter Berg again (after working together on Lone Survivor and Deepwater Horizon) but this time, they’re dropping the real-life dramas and just letting Marky Mark be a full-on badass. Are you broke? I am so broke right now. This is usually the time of year when I stay home and eat nothing but food that’s been sitting in the freezer for the past six months until I can financially catch my breath. We could still go to the movies, though! See, while I was on vacation PILES of free movie passes landed on my front porch and they’re all for movies we want to see, like Patriots Day. This one stars Mark Wahlberg and tells the true story of the Boston Marathon bombing and the manhunt that followed. It won’t be in theaters nationwide until January 13th but we get to see Patriots Day EARLY and FOR FREE! Just click HERE to grab your free passes, then watch the trailer below. Oh man, and bring boxes of tissues to this one.

On April 20th, 2010, the world’s largest man-made disaster occurred on an off-shore drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico. The Deepwater Horizon exploded and created the largest oil-spill in history AND took 11 lives in the process. Director Peter Berg tells the Deepwater Horizon story with the help of Mike Williams (played by Mark Wahlberg), who actually survived the explosion.
So, wanna see it EARLY and FOR FREE? If so, click HERE to grab your free passes, then watch the trailer below. Wait a minute. What accent is John Malkovich doing? Is that supposed to be Cajun?
