How fun does this movie look?!!! The Kid Who Would Be King stars Ashbourne Serkis as a modern-day teenager who finds the mythical sword, Excalibur. He must then build an army to fight Merlin’s evil sister, Morgana before she takes over the world. It’s kind of like Harry Potter meets 1981’s Excalibur, with a little Shaun of the Dead thrown in. There’s a great cast too, with Patrick Stewart and Rebecca Ferguson playing Merlin and Morgana. So, who wants to see The Kid Who Would Be King EARLY and FOR FREE? I have passes to see it in Houston (HERE) and San Antonio (HERE). Continue reading →
