Need something new to watch? Maybe another sofa activity that won’t lead to self-loathing. What? I was referring to your habit of eating cake icing directly from the tub. Or is that just me? Well, COVID-19 might be a horrific pandemic but it couldn’t have come at a better time, with all the TV there is to watch. I’m joking, of course, but you’ve wanted to catch up on the shows and movies people were talking about. Now you’ve got the time. Continue reading →
Before we discuss taking your kids to see Spider-Man: Homecoming, we should probably address how YOU feel about it. Odds are, you’re still confused about the need for a reboot (especially since they JUST rebooted it with Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker) and, as a result, you’re apathetic about the whole thing.
Let me clue you in to a few solid reasons for you to NOT be apathetic about Spider-Man: Homecoming. Continue reading →
If you aren’t excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming, it’s probably because you didn’t see his triumphant return in Captain America: Civil War. Yes, I also rolled my eyes at the thought of it, but my Spidey-apathy was abated when young Tom Holland donned that stretchy suit. Good Lord, that boy is adorable. If you missed it, click HERE to see a compilation of his Captain America: Civil War scenes. Or don’t. I mean, then you’ll just want to SEE Spider-Man:Homecoming and I simply don’t have enough free passes for EVERYONE. Continue reading →
I saw Captain American: Civil War last night and, I’m not gonna lie, I was crazy pumped. It was extra special though, because I got to see it with my three favorite movie buddies; Rebekah Black and my daughters, Emma and Lucy. You can hear what we thought about the movie in the podcast below and let me be clear. Ant Man didn’t exactly steal the show, but, in a split second, he managed to become our favorite Avenger. Enjoy our review and remember to share your own thoughts on the movie in the Comments, once you’ve seen Captain America: Civil War.
New in theaters this week is the highly anticipated sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron. If your family is like mine, this movie and whether or not my kids can see it has been a constant topic of discussion. Fortunately, I already saw the film so I can give you the low-down. Continue reading →
I went to see Tony Zazza because he SAID he wanted to talk about the Avengers: Age of Ultron. HE LIED! Evidently, Tony had a “bone to pick” with me and boy, did he ever! I thought he might jump across the desk & stab me with a Sharpie at one point. Click HERE and go to Podcast #24 to hear what happened but WATCH OUT for that Tony Zazza. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry!
I didn’t like superhero movies in 2012, when I went to see the first Avengers. I remember looking at my movie-buddy Rebekah Black and saying, “This is gonna suck.”
What can I say? Sometimes I’m really REALLY wrong.
We were BEYOND pumped about this new treat from Joss Whedon but also a little scared. Would it compare to the first? Would it suck so bad that we’d stop liking the Avengers altogether? What if it was so awful that even THOR lost his sex-appeal. Yeah, that’s not gonna happen but listen to the podcast to hear our thoughts.
