I’ve had multiple friends reach out to me lately, asking what movies they should see. Some are looking to entertain kids who are out of school and some are finally getting out for a date-night, but none of them want to waste their time and cash.

I was on Good Morning Texas today to talk about all the big movies that are coming out this month AND review The Conjuring 2. We finally watched the movie I was most excited about seeing this year, The Conjuring 2. Was it everything I’d hoped it would be? Does it live up to the first movie? Was I screaming so much that someone thought I needed assistance? Listen to find out! I will say I was most disturbed by the picture below, which Michael Hatch showed me right after the movie. It’s supposedly a real photo of the little boy who haunted the Amityville House. It’s also why I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night.
See the image above? I saw that for the first time a few months ago, when I saw The Conjuring 2 trailer in the theater. I honestly screamed out loud when that dude came out of the wall. No one else around me screamed because no one else was really paying attention. I, on the other hand, was rapt.
See, I LOVED the first Conjuring. It’s easily in my Top 5 List of Scary Movies and probably in my Top 10 Favorites of All Time, if you forced me to make one. I’m a sucker for any ghost story that’s BASED ON ACTUAL EVENTS, plus Director James Wan has such a delicate touch with these films, they actually feel REAL.
This is why you probably shouldn’t sit anywhere near me during The Conjuring 2. NO, I’m going to scream and flail and probably yell out a healthy dose of profanity in the process. It will be highly embarrassing for us all but you should STILL get free passes to see The Conjuring 2. Do that by clicking HERE, then watch the trailer below.
