The Top 5 Movies to See Over SPRING BREAK

Those of us with kids are about to spend a whole week with them at home and you know how that goes. They spend extended periods of time on their chosen devices until parental-guilt kicks in and you HAVE to take them somewhere. This is a great time to catch up on the movies you’ve missed and fortunately, there’s some fun stuff currently in theaters. I put together a list of the Julie Says So Top 5 Movies to See Over Spring Break, but these are primarily for kids 13 and under. If you have older kids (or just kids who like movies for older kids) I would add Logan and especially Get Out to the list. Both of them are rated R and contain hefty portions of violence and profanity, but they’re also GREAT! Top 5 Movies to See in FEBRUARY

Is it just me or did January suck? I’m biased because I’ve been dealing with a sick kid all week AND I am watching a man install a new hot-water heater as I write this. The old one sprung a massive leak in the middle of the night, which is why I’m still wearing pajamas in front of the water-heater man.
What does this have to do with anything, you ask?

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “The Lego Batman Movie” EARLY & FOR FREE

I NEVER expected to like the first Lego Movie and, as I always say, Low Expectations Are a Film’s Best Friend.
Like that line? Feel free to use it.
The first Lego Movie ended up in my Top 10 Favorite Films of 2014, so now I’m trying to reel in my expectations for The Lego Batman Movie. My kids, on the other hand, are full-blown PUMPED about it.
