5. I didn’t think Jonah Hill did anything between films that didn’t involve a bong, but I was wrong. He actually wrote and directed a movie called Mid90’s which is far better than it deserves to be, since you’re just watching a kid get his butt kicked repeatedly. Continue reading →

FREE MOVIE PASSES: See “Everything Everything” EARLY & FOR FREE

This time of year makes me think of high school and that awesome, tingly sensation we all had right before school got out. Seems like I had that blissed-out feeling of hope the whole month of May, like something incredible was BOUND to happen that summer. That’s probably why I’m excited about Everything Everything. This tale of doomed love between a sick, home-bound girl (Amandla Stenberg) and her new neighbor (Nick Robinson) definitely would have appealed to 16-year-old me. I’m not proud to admit that I’ve had a gross old-lady crush on Nick Robinson ever since Kings of Summer, as well.
